About Jing Si Tea

Jing Si Tea Farm is situated on Sanyi Mountain facing the Taiwan Strait, in a perfect ecosystem that benefits from a regular fine mist of rain. The 26-hectare farm is cradled amid a forest spreading out over 230 hectares, a veritable oasis with the trees keeping the pollution of urban areas at bay.  

The farm is managed by a team of farmers who have devoted their lives to this organic venture, applying great skill and constant vigilance to assure that Jing Si Tea is grown and processed naturally.

High on the mountain, without electricity or irrigation systems, they rely on grass cultivation: The growing grass retains rainwater and keeps the soil moist, nourishing the tea plants without the need for artificial fertilizers or herbicides. The farm doesn’t use pesticides either, but Mother Nature provides support with flocks of birds that help control the number of pests.

Sanyi tea gardens are cultivated entirely by natural ecological organic farming methods, without spraying pesticides, chemical fertilizers and herbicides. Through the cultivation of organic farming methods, organic Jing Si tea is produced, which makes the tea soup taste more sweet and less bitter.

The Jing Si organic teas from Taiwan not only provides healthy tea for the people, but also a testimony of "the earth is healthy and all living beings are safe." The idea of our brand has been recognized all around the world to provide a healthier tea to everyone.

This two day specialty tea event will be held in the fragrant herb gardens of The Rosemary House and Sweet Remembrances Tea Room in charming downtown Mechanicsburg, PA. The Festival will feature guided tea tastings, tea samplings offered by many tea experts, a variety of Merchants and Vendors, a Range of Teas and Herbal Tisanes, Tea Tastings and Tea Culture, Informative Programs, Musical Entertainment ... and Something for Everyone!

The festival in 2024 will be the fourteenth Northwest Tea Festival

Join for a fun and educational two-day event showcasing the multifaceted world of tea.  The goal of the festival is to provide experiences covering all aspects of tea, from the cultural to the historical and the sensory to the scientific.  The festival is appropriate for people of all ages and all level of tea experience, from mildly curious folks to passionate, lift-long aficionados.
